Ezra and my dad are still in California (I haven't talked to them much, but I think they've had a grand time so far.) I've been doing lots of really fun stuff since they've been gone. Yesterday Janet and Miss Glissando took me out to lunch at Tandoor, and then Miss Glissando picked out some new glasses, and then we got bubble tea. After that, we went back to Miss Glissando's house, played a word game that I can't remember the name of, and watched Rent. It was good fun.
Today we're going to Cambridge! Hoo-ray!

Yesterday I had a splendid day; after we took Ezra and my dad to the airport, we went to the resturant The Friendly Toast in Portsmouth. Have any of you guys been there? It's terrific! Then we came home and watched a couple episodes of My So-Called Life, which Miss Glissando lent me. (Lent? Is that the correct word? It doesn't look right.) It's lovely, but not nearly as grand as Freaks and Geeks (so far...) Then I had social dance class, which is always terrific, and then my mom and I had dinner with David Meiklejohn at 8:30. It was the best day I've had in a while.

On Friday, my mum and I watched Thumbsucker, which was a splendid film. It was very, very weird. Let's see... what else do I have to say? Ezra and my dad are going to California today, which should be a grand time. Ezra's going to Yosemite National Park. Very cool.

I don't really have much to say, only that yesterday was Valentine's day, as you all know, and it was quite uneventful. I watched the WKC dog show last night, and it was depressing because a really ugly dog won (a Bull Terrier.)

Today Artemis and Gabriella came over, and we made them watch an entire episode of Project Runway (a dumb but fasinating TV show that my mum, Ezra, and I have been watching lately.) I think they enjoyed it, though. Project Runway is on all the time, and every Wednesday night at 10 there's a new episode. I have to stay up and watch it every Wednesday, I'm sorry to say.

Yesterday, we got a scanner! Isn't that incredible? It's so amazing how you can put images on the computer. Now we can make our own greeting cards, too. It should be fun.
What else is new? Well... Ezra and my dad are going to California in a couple weeks. My Scottish dance class starts on Tuesday.
I rescued a bean plant from my biology class, and put it on our windowsill. The only problem is, I don't know how often to water it or anything, and I couldn't find anything about indoor bean plants online. Does anyone out there know anything about bean plants? It's an Italian string bean, and it's a seedling. It's very little. So far I have killed some basil, some crocuses, some white flowers that I can't remember the name of, and more. I would not like to add my bean plant to that list, especially since it came very close to being pulled out by the roots at biology.

Good morning.

Here are some things you should know about me:

1. When I said I don't usually like fantasy books, I didn't mean to offend Ezra or Artemis (who love fantasy books) or anyone else. I like The Magician's Assistant, The Little Prince, and Coraline very much indeed.

2. I'm not vegan, but I really wish I was, both because I don't believe in eating animals, and because dairy usually makes me feel really stuffed up and sick. (Maybe I'm allergic to it.) I've tried to be vegan, but I can never stick to it.

3. I deleted my first bio because it was too depressing. I was in a really bad mood when I wrote it.

4. I hope you apprecitate my photo, because it took me a terrible long time to get it! It refused to work, even after I had done a number of things to it, including saving it, editing it on Adobe Photoshop, and posting it on both LiveJournal and Blogger (so I could copy it from there.)

5. I have been playing the piano for a year and a half. I like it most of the time.

6. For a short time in March, I will be taking dance six days a week. (Modern on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and Scottish on Tuesday and Sunday.)

7. I don't like candy very much at all (except chocolate-covered cherries.)

8. I think Miranda July is pretty cool. I'd really like to see her movie (Me and You and Everyone We Know,) but I don't think I'm allowed to.

9. I got a new uke for Christmas. It is just lovely.

10. The painting in our kitchen of the woman and the bugs is so frightening!

Good morning.
Here is the news of the day: our lil' homeschooling Latin group (meaning Matt, Josh, Becca, Devyn and me) is about to get a NEW LATIN TEACHER! How exciting is that? I know that's not nice, since Jenni was fine, and she was a pretty good teacher, and I definitely liked her class and all, but this is still extremely exciting! Fun.
I'm not very good at Latin, but I like it a lot. (NOT "alot!" I detest when people make "a lot" one word.) Our Latin book is called Lingua Latina (what a creative name!) and it is rather amusing. It has characters and a story and everything. My favourite character in Lingua Latin is Quintus. He's always getting beat up by his older brother, Marcus.

Good morning.

Yes, it is extremely late, and yes, I should be in bed since I have biology and writing tomorrow, but I just felt like updating my blog again. I dunno why.
Have you seen Bottle Rocket? It is a grand movie. Have you seen Rushmore? It is even better.
I'm thinking about maybe changing my name on Blogger, since I told Flora she could have Knuckles McGee for a nickname, and also, I don't really like it. Maybe I should name meself Charlotte, since it is a splendid name, only that would be confusing and weird for Miss Glissando. Maybe I should name meself Stella, or Margot, which are two names I like, or Maia, or Sissy. Or Junior. Or Darnya. Hmmm.

Good Morning.
Namaste.
Me name's Knuckles McGee. Not really. Next year, I am going to high school and may be changing my name, and I am just trying a few out. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate them very much. Thanks.
Yes. I'm trying to decide between Blogger and LiveJournal. I feel bad about changing my blog again, but since Artemis and Ezra have both betrayed LiveJournal, I might as well, too.

Good morning.
