It's time for another biology project, folks! This time we had to choose an animal and write a report on it. It's not really that hard, but it's harder than it sounds. I have chosen a stingray. They're not that interesting, really.
not that interesting!! oh, i remember when you were a wee lass, how you'd run to the stingray tank at the baltimore aquarium with your arms outstretched, crying, "stingie! stingie!"
That reminds me of when I was younger, and I begged my parents to buy me this super-expensive illustrated fantasy encyclopedia set with color drawings of unicorns and wyverns and whatnot for my birthday, and when instead they gave me a 12-month calendar of Boris Vallejo artwork, I ran at them with my arms outstretched, a small saw in my hands, screaming, "Stingy! Stingy!" I was the most unhappy 23-year-old on the planet that day.

um, that's "stingie" as in the diminutive form of "stingray." as in, "you're so cute, i want to take you home and push you around in a baby carriage."
I'm terribly flattered, but dear lizzie lou, I don't think you can find a baby carriage big enough for me. Thank you muchly all the same!
