Babysitting

The pictures are of two of Ezra's fellow Many Rivers students, who I babysit weekly. They shall remain unnamed. I like them very much, although they are both big sports kids. Mostly, they invite their neighbors over and play soccer the whole time. Yesterday, however, I taught them how to play freeze, which they seemed to enjoy, despite the fact that somebody hit his little sister in the face at some point, and made her cry. After she recovered, we continued to play freeze for a while, and then they wanted to have a dance party, so one of them went to get his favourite Green Day CD. Then I said, "I noticed you had a Talking Heads CD over there. How about we listen to the Talking Heads instead?" I put on the Talking Heads, and they seemed to enjoy it. It was a nice change. I really don't like playing soccer and four square, which is what they always want to do.
(I'm sorry that the pictures are so dark and blurry. Their house is really dark. I don't know where any of the lights are, or maybe they just don't have very many.)

exciting! last night, the b-damans went crazy, singing a strange song about taco salad and telling me their parents let them stay up until eleven. i'm so glad you got a picture of your charges!
