Did I ever tell you the story about how once I was on a plane from Boston to Florida, and the guy next to me was an origamist (or an origamian?), but he used thin sheets of metal mesh instead of paper. The pieces he made were very strong but took longer to make. He sat between me and a young woman who was maybe eighteen. He made a bronze swan for me.
